Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Stars & Signals (starsandsignals.com), including our website, account features, subscriptions, and one-time purchases (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Stars & Signals ("we," "us," "our") operates starsandsignals.com. For information on how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Description of Service

Stars & Signals provides:

• AI-generated personalised horoscope content based on your birth data and personal context, delivered through free, logged-in, and paid ("Star Member") tiers
• One-time purchase birth chart / synastry reports
• Related account and content features

Horoscope content, birth chart interpretations, and synastry reports are generated using astronomical (ephemeris) data combined with AI-generated narrative content. See Section 6 for important disclaimers about this content.

4. Accounts

You're responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Billing. Paid subscriptions ("Star Membership") are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings. Cancelling stops future renewals — you'll retain access to Star Member features until the end of your current paid billing period.

Refunds. All payments are non-refundable, including partial billing periods. This applies to both subscriptions and one-time purchases (see Section 6 below). Please review what's included before purchasing.

Price changes. We may change subscription pricing from time to time. If a price changes for an active subscriber, we'll provide notice before the change takes effect on your next renewal.

6. One-Time Purchases

Certain features, including synastry reports, are available as one-time purchases. These are billed once via Stripe at the time of purchase and, as noted in Section 5, are non-refundable once the report has been generated and delivered.

7. AI-Generated Content and Disclaimer

For entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. Horoscopes, birth chart interpretations, synastry reports, and all other astrological content provided through the Service are generated using AI and are intended for entertainment, personal reflection, and self-exploration purposes only.

Not professional advice. Nothing on Stars & Signals constitutes medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice. You should not make significant life, health, financial, or legal decisions based solely on content provided through the Service. Always consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

AI limitations. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, generic, or not reflect your specific circumstances. We use your provided data (birth details, relationship status, career, bio, goals) to personalise content, but the results are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suited to your particular needs.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through automated scraping or excessive requests
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or its generated content for commercial purposes without our permission

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, and underlying technology, is owned by Stars & Signals. Content generated for you personally (your horoscopes, chart interpretations, and reports) is yours to use for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stars & Signals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for decisions made based on content provided through the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee or right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time via Account Settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prior payments (see Section 5).

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
